As of 2014, when Tigerair Mandala’s main shareholders ceased the airline’s funding, travelers have been unable to book Mandala Air flight tickets online. However, travelers can still search for affordable flights throughout Indonesia and beyond on our website. Online Booking

1. Find Flights

Because Tigerair Mandala ceased operations in 2014, flight tickets are no longer available for this airline. Fortunately, you can always find alternative, budget-friendly flights on our website. The new e-ticket is used just like a paper ticket. Simply save your e-ticket on your smartphone, tablet or other device and display it for the check-in representative when you arrive at the airport. In fact, the e-ticket is even more secure and convenient than a paper ticket, because it cannot be lost or stolen.

Web Check-in

Mandala Air’s check-in services are no longer available, but many Indonesian airlines do allow customers to check-in online. Checking-in online will help you avoid long, time-consuming check-in lines at the airport. However, you’ll still need to arrive at the airport early enough to receive your boarding pass, pass through security and board your flight on time.

Booking On Your Mobile (HP)

Mandala Air no longer operates flights or other services, but you can always book flight tickets for alternative airlines on our mobile website. You do not need to download an application. Simply open our web page with your smartphone or tablet’s web browser and start booking your upcoming flights in a matter of seconds.

Airlines History

Mandala Airlines was founded on April 17, 1969. The airline served a number of cities within Indonesia as well as international destinations, including Hong Kong, SIngapore and Bangkok. The airline operated a fleet of Airbus A319 aircraft, Boeing 727-200 aircraft, Boeing 737-200 aircraft, Boeing 737-400 aircraft, Lockheed L-188 Electra aircraft and the Vickers Viscount medium-range turboprop aircraft. In 2002, Mandala Airlines was named Indonesia’s “Most Potential Brand in Airlines Service.”

Airlines Bankrupcy

Mandala Air officially ceased operations in 2012 because of the company’s high debts and lack of operational funds. The airline was taken over by Singapore-based Tiger Airways. Mandala Airlines, operating as Tigerair Mandala, adopted a new logo and focused on Tiger Airways’ vision of the company as a low-cost, regional carrier. Tigerair Mandala later ceased operations on July 1, 2014.
