How to contact Emirates?
Before contacting the Emirates airline you should first try to check your flight status or amend your booking on the Manage Your Booking page.
In the second step, visit Emirates info hub, to find out about the current airline network situation, requirements at your destination, and ticket options available at the moment for passengers. Also, read the latest travel updates, FAQs, and check the airline’s Twitter posts – most likely, you will find answers to your questions there. If you need to cancel your trip and would like to get a refund, you may be able to do it without contacting Customer Service, just by filling out the Request a Refund form.
Passengers whose flights have been affected by delays or cancellations and need CS assistance may use the main Emirates Customer Service number +971600555555 (Dubai, UAE) or one of the regional call centers’ phone numbers listed later in this article. Best times to call Emirates
Emirates call centre wait times can be frustratingly long. To decrease lengthy periods on hold, try to call the airline at off-peak times during the middle of the week. Emirates’ experienced customers have suggested that the best time to call is in the early morning (4 am – 7 am). Also, late hours on weekends can increase the chance for your call to be answered promptly.

Phone numbers by airport (city)
The up-to-date list of Emirates phone numbers for its customer service around the world, by region, city/airport.
Please note that only some of those contact numbers are toll-free (use a landline to call toll-free numbers, mobile network providers may impose additional fees for these numbers). Consider using Internet phone services like Skype or Google Voice to call Emirates helpline when you are overseas.
Emirates live chat
Emirates has been working on its live chat support channel for some time already. It’s still not a fully mature product, but it already may serve as an alternative way to get help from the airline.
How does the Emirates live chat work then? Online chat uses chatbots (so-called “virtual assistants”) to provide automated answers to popular questions. The chatbot uses natural language understanding to mimic human conversation and suggests solutions by directing a customer to the relevant pages on the Emirates website. Unfortunately, the bots are not multi-lingual, and can only have a simple conversation in English. The automated web chat is great if you don’t demand too much from a bot – it can help you to re‑book your ticket, add extra services to your flight (a meal, a better seat, etc), or inform you about the current status of an upcoming flight. Click here to start an online chat with Emirates.
For more complex problems live chat consultants are available. Although Emirates promises to put you in touch with a human consultant when the bot fails to solve your problem, in reality it depends on the level of congestion on Emirates support channels at the moment. It may be a while until you get help from a person, so be patient.
How to talk to a human consultant on live chat?
If you already chatting with a bot, simply select “Speak to a representative” from the list of options provided. If you don’t see it, just type “Can I speak to a human?” and you’ll be connected to a real person from the Emirates customer service team.
Can I email Emirates?
Yes. Although Emirates airline doesn’t provide any e-mail addresses for its customer service, some of the local branches allow the customer to contact them by e-mail – see the table below.
Among a few email addresses published by Emirates on their “Contact us” page are security@emirates.com (to report security or privacy issues), abuse@emirates.com (to report a suspicious email claiming to be from Emirates), and SkywardsMemberVerification@emirates.com (to report a problem with access to Emirates Skywards member pages).
Country | Emirates E-mail |
---|---|
Brazil | saorrek@emirates.com |
Turkey | ekturkey@emirates.com |
UAE | ekuae@emirates.com |
UK | ekuk@emirates.com customerserviceuk@emirates.com |
US | emirates-on-line@emirates.com CustomerAffairsNY@emirates.com |
Instead of providing a general e-mail address, Emirates allows its customers to send an e-mail to its support team using a web form. In fact, there are almost 20 (!) specialized web forms, each for a particular category of a request. The most useful are:
- Refund request email form
- Formal complaint email form
- Group booking email form
- Cancelled flight email form
- Delayed baggage email form
- Traveling with pets email form
- Special assistance email form
Although Emirates doesn’t provide any e-mail addresses for its customer service, some of the local branches allow the customer to contact them by e-mail.
Contacting Emirates via social media
The quickest way to change your booking is on Emirates Manage Booking page. However, if you encounter a problem, you will most likely need assistance from the customer care team. At this point, before you start contacting Emirates call centre (often a lengthy process), try to get a quick fix by sending a message to customer service via social media.
To contact Emirates on Twitter, visit their Twitter account, then click the envelope icon to send a direct message.
To contact Emirates on Facebook, visit their Facebook Page, then look for the Send Message button – it opens Facebook Messenger window, where you can chat with Emirates customer care staff.
Never share personal details on Facebook public wall, or on Twitter feed. Always use the private Send Message button on Facebook or Direct Message function on Twitter to contact the airline.
Direct messages (DM) sent to Emirates social media channels are usually answered promptly – if you are experiencing long waiting times when calling Emirates, try to contact the airline directly on Twitter or Facebook.
If you fly Emirates in the next 48-72 hours, then reaching to Emirates call centre is still the best choice. Reply times on Twitter or Facebook vary, and in some cases it may take even a few days for the airline staff to respond to your message.
Emirates Skywards: support for frequent flyers
Emirates Skywards members can enjoy dedicated customer support, with shorter waiting times than other customers. There are no dedicated phone numbers for frequent flyers though – simply call Emirates at one of the general contact numbers and then select the Skywards option at the beginning of your call. You’ll get promptly connected with the Skywards customer care team.
So, if you’re a Blue, Silver, Gold, or Platinum member and calling regarding your Skywards miles from Australia, use +611300303777 number, from Malaysia +60362074999, from Singapore +6566221770, from USA+18007773999, etc. The main phone number +971600555555 is located in Dubai (UAE), but we advise you to call the phone number that serves customers from your country.
Emirates live chat serves as an alternative way to contact Skywards support staff. You just need to be logged into your Skywards account before opening a chat session, so the system can recognize you as a frequent flyer. The live chat virtual assistants or the person from the Skywards support team will provide you then with more personalized assistance.
