Founded in 2004 (as Royal Airlines), SpiceJet is India’s second-largest airline and the most popular low-cost carrier in the country. It flies to more than 50 domestic destinations in India and 15 international destinations including Afghanistan, Maldives, Nepal, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, and the UAE. The airline offers premium services under the name SpiceMax, with additional benefits such as seats with extra legroom (the most spacious economy class seating in India), complimentary meals, priority check-in, and boarding. Throughout the years, the airline maintained good comfort of travel, onboard product, and staff service and is certified as a 3-Star Low-Cost Airline by Skytrax.
