Wings Air Passenger Rating
I travel throughout Indonesia every year on surf trips and often choose new destinations. I have flown with Wings Air to a number of remote Indonesian destinations and have never had a problem. Their surfboard fee is easy to understand and affordable, unlike many major carriers that want to charge $100 to $200 just to check a surfboard. Everything about flying with Wings Air is affordable, and that’s exactly what I’m looking for on my budgeted trips. I’m sure I’ll be flying with them again next year.
I couldn’t believe how affordable my recent flights between Bali and Bima were. I used the airline twice, on my way to Bima and on my return to Bali, and was happy to see that I could book just a couple of days before I wanted to leave and still receive an extremely low ticket price. The check-in process was easy and my flights were on time the entire way. I know I’ll use Wings Air again, and I think their low ticket prices will help me fly more often.
I recently took my first flight on Wings Air from Palembang to Lampung and was blown away by how well the flight experience went for such cheap airfare. I’ve flown AirAsia multiple times throughout Indonesia and have always noted that their slogan was, “Now everyone can fly.” However, I think this slogan is more fitting for Wings Air, because they don’t hassle their customers with all of the last-minute fees that other budget airlines do. My flight was on time and the plane, though small, was comfortable and relaxing.
