It’s no surprise that low-cost carriers have a bad reputation. After all, most nickel and dime you for everything from checked baggage to wanting to sit in a window seat. Malindo Air cuts out the extra fees and allows a more stress-free, low-cost flying experience. I flew from Denpasar to Kuala Lumpur and enjoyed free checked baggage, a free in-flight snack, and a flight that left promptly at the time it was scheduled to depart.

I took my first flight with Malindo Air last fall from Kuala Lumpur to Denpasar, Bali. I was blown away by the low price of the ticket, but even more wowed by the reliability of the airline. My flight was on time, my baggage arrived promptly, and a snack was provided free of charge. The plane was spotless on the inside, and the legroom was far more than I have ever had when flying low-cost airlines throughout Southeast Asia. I’m excited to have found a new low-cost carrier that I can trust.
