Malindo Airport Check-in

Checking-in directly at the airport is the most traditional method, and it has been used since the early days of aviation. This method remains the top choice for passengers, because they can speak one-on-one with the Malindo Air representative at the airport. However, if you choose to use this check-in method, you’ll need to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before your flight’s departure.

Malindo Web Check-in (Online / Internet)

The check-in process is changing as technology advances. Passengers can now check-in quickly and easily on Malindo Air’s website. This method helps passengers avoid long lines at the airport and allows them to arrive later than those who check-in in person. Malindo Air allows passengers to check-in for flights online between 24 hours and 4 hours before their scheduled departure time. You can check-in online from anywhere with internet access, including the comfort of your home.

Malindo Mobile Check-in

WPassengers will soon be able to check-in with Malindo Air’s mobile check-in feature. This option will appeal to young passengers and travelers who use their smartphones frequently. Malindo Air now operates a mobile app that can be downloaded by the passenger. The airline is currently in the process of creating a mobile check-in feature that will be available on that app.

Malindo Check-in Time

Passengers who prefer to check-in directly at the airport should arrive a minimum of 2 hours prior to their scheduled time of departure. The Malindo Air check-in counters open 2 hours before departure and close 30 to 45 minutes before departure, depending on the flight route and aircraft operated. Boarding Pass

The boarding pass is an official document that you will receive after you complete the check-in process. If you choose to check-in at the airport, the Malindo Air representative at the check-in counter will print your boarding pass. Those who check-in online should print the boarding pass at home before arriving at the departure airport. The boarding pass is needed to pass through security and enter the flight’s waiting area. Business class passengers may also use the boarding pass to access the executive lounge.
Malindo Air operates in conjunction with many other airlines to offer discounts and other benefits to its passengers. Use your boarding pass to locate attractive discounts that can be used at hotels, restaurants, shopping centers, entertainment venues, executive lounges and more.

Excess Baggage Charge

Malindo Air does provide a substantial baggage allowance, but some passengers do fail to meet the luggage weight requirements. These passengers must pay excess baggage fees. Malindo Air’s excess baggage fees vary based on the passenger’s flight route; however, the fee is typically 100,000 IDR per kg.
