Malindo Regulations For Infants and Children
Malindo Air allows infants and children to fly under certain conditions. Infants are considered any children under the age of 2, and they must be accompanied by a health certificate (issued 72 hours before departure) as well as an indemnity form signed by the parent. Infants under the age of 9 days are not permitted to fly with Malindo Air. Passengers may not fly with two or more infants, and all children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Child/Infant Baggage Allowance
Infants under the age of 2 years do not receive a free baggage allowance when flying with Malindo Air. Cancellations completed between 48 hours and 2 hours prior to departure incur a cancellation fee of 80-percent of the pre-tax ticket price. Cancellations made less than 2 hours before departure incur a fee of 90-percent of the pre-tax ticket price. Passengers must also pay a cancellation fee of 50,000 IDR.
Passengers are able to make a cancellation request if they are not able to depart at the time scheduled. Malindo Air’s cancellation and refund policies are entirely dependent on the time of the cancellation. Name / Time Changes
If an error occurs when entering the name used on your ticket and you would like to make a name change, the request can be completed by contacting Malindo Air’s call center. The fee charged for the name change depends on the type of changes that need to be made.
Changing the date of your departure is also possible, provided that you fly in the same class and on the same flight route. A cancellation fee will be charged during the process of changing your departure date. The fee is dependent on the time the change is made and the price of the new ticket.
